The mission of Margie’s Haven House is “to provide shelter and services for all victims and their children of domestic violence/abuse, human trafficking, sexual assault, stalking, and harassment.” We are the only domestic violence/abuse shelter in Cleburne County, Arkansas. Since 1989, Margie's has been serving victims and their children. Our shelter is designed just like a home and we require everything that a typical household would need, just at a greater capacity. It takes many resources to stay open and fully functional 24/7. All services provided to victims and their children are free of charge. We mourn those who have lost their lives due to domestic violence.  We can touch the lives of victims in a VERY impactful meaningful way.  We are passionate about helping victims set life goals and give them resources to achieve their goals.  Every VICTIM we serve strengthens their skills and strategies to support the ongoing safety of themselves and their children.  Every VICTIM we serve has a story to share & we want to listen.  Every second, minute, hour, day, & dollar given towards our mission is an investment in the future of a family.

Young Life is a world-class ministry for adolescents.  Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them-- fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilage of talking to them about something that we think matters most of all-- the truth about Jesus Christ.

  • Our goal is to plug kids into the church for life.
  • All of our staff and volunteers are actie members of a church community.
  • Young Life is non-denominational/blessed by all major denominations/ect.
  • We have something to offer believing kids too-- the oppurtunity to join with folks who want to impact their school for Christ.

Young Life was founded in 1941 by a pastor who wanted to spend time with kids who were disinterested in church.  Today, Young Life exists in more than 90 countries and is supported by 4,000 staff members, more thean 36,000 volunteer leaders and almost 16,500 local committee members.Young Life areas are supported financially by the communities that invite our presence; each area raises its own budget.

Young Life exists in our community because of adults who invite and support our presence.  We call them our committee.  Parents are valued as partners in ministry-- we want the best for your kid, too.  Our leaders are adults who are screened carefully and trained continuously.
