Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1986, and of legal age to operate a motorboat (including personal watercraft) or sailboat
must have successfully completed an approved AGFC Boating Education Course and carry proof while operating a
motorboat or sailboat on Arkansas water. Course is recommended for ages 12 and up. Family participation is encouraged.
Parental consent form is required for youth under 18 years of age. Must register with Arkansas Game and Fish in
advance by going online @ www.register-ed.com.

BLS (Basic Life Support) for Medical Professionals $35

The BLS instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both
prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. Through case-based
scenarios, interactive activities and videos, you will recognize and be able to respond to several life-threatening
emergencies. The hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency. Space is limited, register early!

HeartSaver First Aid Course $35

The purpose of this course is to help participants identify and eliminate potentially hazardous conditions in their
environment, recognize emergencies and make appropriate decisions for first aid care. It teaches skills that participants
need to know in order to provide immediate care for a suddenly ill or injured person until more advanced medical care
arrives to take over. It is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job,
regulatory or other requirements. American Heart Association (AHA) certification. Enrollment limited, register soon!

TECHNOLOGY
Computer Basics $60

In this eight-hour, hands-on workshop, you will learn how to effectively maneuver through your computer’s programs. All
introductory skills will be taught from turning the computer on and off correctly to file management. You will learn how
to utilize programs, send e-mails, work with pictures and explore other items of interest to the class.

Computer Basics Plus $60

This eight-hour course is designed to be a continuation of Computer Basics, going into further detail and building upon
the skills taught in the first class. You will learn how to utilize different programs, how to save pictures from your phone
and camera, how to burn and make a disc of documents/pictures, how to save to and retrieve from a jump/thumb/flash
drive, as well as explore one-on-one questions in class. An introduction to Windows 10 will be covered. Increase your
confidence with hands-on learning in our computer lab.

Ballroom Dance for Beginners – Part I Choose between two class offerings $55

This five-week class is designed to raise one’s comfort level with social dancing and provide the opportunity to discover
the joy and well-being that comes from this social outlet. You will learn the basics of American Style ballroom including a
brief history, steps, lead/follow, and body positioning. NO PARTNER NECESSARY! Wear comfortable clothes/shoes.
*NOTE – Ballroom Dance - Part II (continuation of Part I) will be offered at a later date.
Ballroom Dance for Beginners – Part III $55

Ballroom Part III’s class has a specific dance focus. For the spring semester, students will concentrate on Rumba and
East Coast Swing. This class will continue to learn more basic steps including some refinement and practice through
repetition. For those who haven’t previously taken a ballroom dance class, Ballroom Part I is a pre-requisite to attending
this class. NO PARTNER REQUIRED.

If you love Essential Oils and would like to learn how to use them in a variety of ways, you will love this “make and take”
workshop! Participants will make five items such as bath salts, sugar scrubs, roller balls, inhalers, etc. Acacia’s relaxed,

Backyard Chickens $20

Which came first the chicken or the egg? Why did the chicken cross the road? We may not have the answers to these
questions, but we can answer many more. Come and learn how to start your own small flock, even within city limits.
Whether your interest lies in having fresh eggs or just a few poultry pets to eat yard bugs, this class is for you. Topics will
include: breeds, health, poultry products, housing, and nutrition.

Kids’ Corner
Gymnastics & Cheer Classes: Concentration is on skills development in a positive, fun-filled atmosphere. We strive to
help our young students develop a love for physical fitness, gain confidence, learn discipline, and understand how to set
and work toward goals. In both Gymnastics and Cheer classes, you may register for a month at a time, joining anytime
throughout the semester, or register/pay in January for the whole semester and receive a discount. *

Gymnastics Ages 4 and up $45/month OR $205/semester*

With new equipment, we have expanded this class to include a parallel bar and an additional balance beam at a higher
setting. Students will learn increased motor skills followed by basic tumbling which will include a variety of cartwheels,
front rolls, backbends, etc. Balance Beam and Bar skills will be introduced. This class is designed to teach children with no
previous tumbling or up to one year of experience. A year-end recital is scheduled in May where your child will perform a
floor/ beam/bar routine. Students will choose their own music and costume (with guidance).

Cheerleading Ages 4 and up $45/month OR $205/semester*

This class will help cheerleaders improve jumps and tumbling skills, individual and/or in a group. Future cheerleaders will
receive instruction focusing on tumbling fundamentals including cartwheels, round-offs, backbends, back walk overs and
back handsprings while developing balance and body awareness. The cheer class will also include motion placement and
beginning cheers. In May, students will perform their newly acquired skills for family and friends.
Kid’s College Camp AWESOME!! Coming this summer to an ASUB campus near you!!
During the month of July, ASU Beebe will be offering a Kid’s College Camp where kids can experience all sorts of new
and exciting opportunities, things like: Minecraft, forensics, natural history, theater/drama, and arts/crafts. Details for
each campus will be added to our webpage soon. See what’s in store for your child this summer!!

Art Classes
Painting & Composition – Just for Fun Ages 16 & up $150
Mondays March 27 – June 5 9:00 am-12:00 pm LC 106 Janelle Selvidge
Enjoy a break from everyday life and come paint with us! This class will meet for three hours once a week and is
designed to bring out your inner creativity. You may use any medium (oil, acrylic, or watercolor) as well as choose your
own subject matter. During the ten-week class, you will receive one-on-one instruction assisting in compositional set-up,
drawing, and color mixing. No painting experience required. Students will receive a supply list at the first class, will work
at their own pace, and may complete as many pieces as they wish. No pressure, no stress – just FUN!

Painting with Bob Ross Technique ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED $65

Come join us for a day filled with enjoyment! Bob Ross classes require no previous painting experience AND you
