Greers Ferry National Fish Hatchery has reopened their outdoor space (outside fish rearing area) for everyone to enjoy, but all indoor spaces remain temporarily closed to the public.
Visiting hours are 10:00 am - 3:00 pm daily (closed Thanksgiving day and Dec 24 & Dec 25 for the Christmas holiday).
Hatchery staff encourage you to:
o Contact the hatchery before visiting to confirm visiting hours.
o Follow current CDC safe practices by maintaining a safe social distance between yourself and other groups.
o Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
o Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth (face coverings are recommended).
o Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze.
o Most importantly, stay home if you feel sick.
