On Friday, June 9th, the Heber Springs Area Chamber Ambassadors completed the Strengthsquests Workshop, sponsored by Entergy. This workshop identifies the top strengths of each participant and teaches them how best to apply these strengths in their professional and personal lives. The workshop was facilitated by Steven Shook, Assistant Director for Student Leadership at the University of Central Arkansas.
Afterward, Terry Castleberry, Financial Adviser, Edward Jones Investments served as the guest speaker for the group. Terry shared her most important leadership lessons she has learned throughout her career.
Chamber Ambassadors represent the Heber Springs Area and are goodwill representatives for the Heber Springs Area Chamber of Commerce. They project a positive image for the organization they represent, as well as the Chamber. Ambassadors perform a wide variety of duties in the Chamber, but their main function is to help promote the Chamber, recruit and welcome new members to the Chamber and make Chamber events successful and enjoyable for Chamber members.
