At the April Heber Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador meeting, the Ambassadors were treated to a special presentation from Heather Dunn, the executive director of the Fairfield Bay Chamber of Commerce. Heather shared best practices with the group for a successful member networking event. The Fairfield Bay Chamber hosts "Business after 5" once a quarter to provide members a chance to network and grow their businesses. This event is held at the Fairfield Bay Conference Center and is sponsored by various Chamber members. The Heber Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors plan to copy this model to begin hosting a member networking event in Heber Springs.

Two Ambassadors were recognized as Ambassadors of the Month for March. Beverly Cothren, who works at Eagle Bank, and David Marrs who works at Mays Mission were both recognized for their work with Chamber Members during the month of March.

"The Ambassador program is designed to benefit all involved, the Chamber Member, the Ambassador, the Ambassador's business or organization and the Chamber of Commerce," commented Julie Murray, executive director of the Heber Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.
