work schedules as needed to successfully complete chamber tasks.)
(5) The ability to manage chamber
staff effectively (train, encourage, reward, delegate, offer constructive
criticism, evaluate performance, and correct and discipline as warranted)
(6) Effective delegation of duties
(7) Ability to plan and schedule.
(8) Reliability (punctuality,
timeliness of work, excellent attendance, etc).
(9) Proficient with budgeting, spreadsheets and QuickBooks
(10) Proficient with Microsoft Office
(11) Proficient with social media
marketing
(12) Experience with ChamberData
CC-Assist software strongly preferred
(13) Experience with Constant Contact
and Canva strongly preferred
(14) Event planning experience. Large
event planning experience is very helpful.
(15) Meeting preparations and proposal
making (minutes, agendas, budgets, idea presentations, etc.)
(16) Relationship building; Must be able to work well with membership, large sponsors, government officials, civic leaders, organization leaders, and the press.

Degrees, Licenses, Certificates, and
Registrations:
This is a professional position. A
four-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field is
strongly preferred, but not required. However, education and or training
sufficient to give the candidate at least a basic to intermediate skill level
in math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions,
percentages); accounting (interest rates, budgets, balancing checkbooks);
computer skills (Microsoft Office, QuickBooks); and language arts (writing and
speaking in a professional, articulate, grammatically correct manner) are
minimal requirements.
Professional appearance and demeanor
are required.
A valid Arkansas driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.

Stress level of this job may be high
at times since the Director and staff are frequently required to multi-task,
under strict deadlines, and reliant upon help that is often comprised of
volunteers.
The position is highly visible in the
community which may also increase the level of stress.
The noise level in the office is
typically low to moderate.
The lighting levels are typical of an
office environment.
Working outside in the heat, cold, and
inclement weather will be required for extended periods of time periodically
throughout the year. Consequently, environmental work conditions will be
uncontrollable at times.
