During September, applications for the 2017 Scarecrow Stroll are being accepted. This annual event, designed to draw pedestrian traffic throughout our downtown, offers businesses, civic clubs and nonprofit organization a chance to showcase their creative talents, and in the process, perhaps win prize money!
If the business or group doesn't have a downtown location, Downtown Network Heber Springs will assign the participant a spot on Main Street or the Courthouse Square to display their scarecrow.
Applications are being accepted through the month of September, and scarecrows go up October 2nd. As with last year's contest, prizes will be awarded for the Judges' Choice and a Facebook Contest People's Choice winner. Winners will earn prize money based on the number of registered participants. Registration is $25.
