For the fifth year in a row, The CALL in Cleburne County has partnered with our local DCFS to draw awareness to the number of Cleburne County children in foster care and/or the number of foster homes through a creative court yard display for the month of May. This year our display was designed by Elizabeth Hardwick. With the help of her dad, Duane Hardwick, the new CALL logo which was revealed late last year, is highlighted. The house reminds us that the goal is for every child in foster care to be placed in a loving home. The paperdoll figures represent children who spend time in foster care each year in Cleburne County.
Like last year, we are seeking sponsors for our “Birthday Brigade” to raise money which will be used to recognize birthdays for each child in foster care in/from Cleburne County. Each sponsorship is $40.
To sponsor a child’s birthday, please call (501)539-2776 and drop your check in the mail slot at our ministry house located at 210 N. 4th St in Heber Springs. When we receive your check we will tie a balloon on one of the children on the court lawn indicating sponsorship.
