Cara Brookins is the author of Rise: How a House Built a Family,
a memoir about escaping domestic violence with her four children and
building a 3,500 square foot home from the ground up with their own
hands. Join us Tuesday, September 19, at 7 p.m., to hear more about Cara's experience and powerful story.

will be hosting a VIP Meet & Greet before the main event. This
catered reception includes meeting the author, photo with the author,
and personalized book-signing. The VIP Meet & Greet will be held at
ASUB Searcy Campus in the Technology East building, Room 127, on Tuesday, September 19, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. VIP tickets include admission and reserved seating at the main event. Limited quantity of VIP tickets available.
